HOW WE WORK
Lawrope delivers a co-ordinated legal solution for clients who require legal advice in other legal jurisdictions.
Lawrope enables clients to retain their single point of contact with a particular lawyer and firm and facilitates that firm to obtain the advice required for the client across the various jurisdictions in which the client operating. This retains the continuity for the client in having to only deal with a single legal reference point but enjoy the benefit of co-ordinated legal advice delivered by their existing trusted advisors who are working with lawyers they know personally to obtain the foreign advice required.
Referral model - in the event that a client does not wish to use a single point of contact jurisdictions for its legal needs Lawrope members are happy to independently engage with the client in the country in which advice is required. This model is popular with clients who have separate operating entities in other jurisdictions and where preferred the relevant Lawrope member firm engages directly with the relevant client entity to deliver services in that particular jurisdiction.
Lawrope member firms will handle matters between themselves to ensure that the client’s multi-jurisdictional legal requirements are met. Lawrope members will clarify which firms are being engaged and in all instances the Lawrope member firm delivering services will engage with the client.
