Lawrope’s Portuguese member, the firm MCF Advogados, will be opening a new office in Angola, Africa. This office will sum itself to the firms other 3 offices located in Lisbon, Oporto and the Algarve.

This new initiative comes along with the opportunity to join a group of companies participating in a common development project called ‘‘Tundavala’’. A more stable political climate and the increase of foreign investment in the country has motivated MCF Advogados to participate to the country’s development by becoming the legal partner of this project.

The group’s first concrete projects include the design and building of N’Zul Park, an important Real Estate development in the city of Lubango. This region is rapidly growing and counts now about one million and a half people. The city which possesses an international airport occupies a determining position in the south with its important number of industrial parks and an important agricultural capacity. The development taking place in a new urban zone will provide new office space, housing and parking space, as well as commercial space.

Another active project of the group is the reconstruction of the Paula Franisseti college.

The decision to do business in Angola marks an important step in the expansion and internationalization of the firm.
