Lawrope counts now with two new members following the incorporation in June of the Danish firm Lassen Ricard and the Brazilian firm Emerenciano, Baggio e Associados. After their profile has been carefully studied by the group, the two firms were invited to participate in Lawrope's last congress in Monaco.
Lassen Ricard, a firm based in Copenhagen is specialised in commercial law issues. The firm counts with a highly experienced team which is also expert in arbitration proceedings and media law matters. Lassen Ricard serves both Danish and foreign clients. The firm also provides services in a variety of areas related to business law and has experience pleading before the European Court of Justice.
The firm has also been represented in the Danish Bar Association's standing committee on competition and intellectual property law, and participated in an expert group set up by the Danish Ministry of Economic Affairs to investigate the controlling activities of the Danish Supervision of Banking, Insurance and Securities. In addition, Lassen Ricard has served has an advisor to the European Commission on legal issues related to telecommunications and media law.
