boyes turner deals Boyes Turner has advised Clydesdale Bank on loan and security arrangements for The Listening Company Limited to fund the acquisition of The Essentia Group Limited and its subsidiary, Added Value Administration Limited. The deal closed on 28 March 2008.

Established in 1998, The Listening Company is a high-end UK based contact centre business which manages over 25 million customer communications a year for its clients through a combination of e-mail, phone and internet channels using experienced agents. It is the fastest growing contact centre in its sector, increasing turnover by 40% for the last 2 years. Its clients include O2, BT, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mecca Bingo, Shell, NCP and Travelodge.

The Essentia Group Limited is also a leading UK contact centre operations, providing information and advice services in the area of health and lifestyle management for governmental, commercial, charitable and membership organisations. The company operates across three sites in the UK and is headquartered in Glasgow. Clients include The British Medical Association, Central Office of Information, Department of Health, NHS Health Scotland, Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, and Eli Lilly.
